Mehriban Aliyeva, First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, visited the Thalassemia Center accompanied by family members.
Minister of Health Teymur Musayev briefed the First Vice-President and her family on the facilities available at the center.
Mehriban Aliyeva toured the transplant department, the newly opened intensive care unit, and the inpatient department for adults, interacting with children receiving treatment and medical staff to inquire about their progress.
