30 killed in rain-related incidents in Pakistan

At least 30 people were killed and several others injured in rain-related incidents in the last 48 hours in Pakistan, Xinhua reports citing the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
The country's eastern Punjab province was the worst-hit region where 17 people lost their lives and six others were injured in lightning strikes incidents as heavy rainfall lashed various districts of the province over the past 48 hours, NDMA official Muhammad Umar told Xinhua.
