President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev on July 5.

The Secretary General highlighted the significance of both official and informal Summits as factors contributing to deeper cooperation and partnership among the countries. He noted the Summit's dedication to crucial topics such as transportation, communications, and climate change, emphasizing the necessity of expanding cooperation among Turkic states in these areas. He touched upon the significance of multilateral cooperation in transportation and communications, expressing confidence that this would contribute substantially to the strengthening of the Turkic world. Kubanychbek Omuraliev specifically underscored the importance of the Middle Corridor in this context.
