On March 16, a media tour of the operational facilities of “Tamiz Shahar” OJSC was organized for media representatives as part of preparations for the thirteenth session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13). The visit provided members of the media with a closer look at the modern approaches being applied to waste management in Baku, including recycling processes and sustainable urban management practices.
