Following the official opening ceremony, the 5th Global Baku Forum under the slogan "Future of foreign relations: Power and interests" featured a session entitled "The future of foreign relations". Moderator of the session, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandria in Egypt, co-chair of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center Ismail Serageldin hailed the importance of the forum, saying it discussed topical issues.
