President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with Undersecretary of State for Economic Development of Italy Ivan Scalfarotto. Ivan Scalfarotto extended Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni`s greetings to the head of state. He expressed his satisfaction with his country`s involvement in the Southern Gas Corridor and its participation in this event. Ivan Scalfarotto said the cooperation between the two countries is also successfully developing in other areas. The undersecretary of state for economic development stressed that they support Azerbaijan’s investments in Italy. He stressed the importance of strengthening efforts to develop Azerbaijani-Italian cooperation in other fields.
