Azerbaijan has allocated more than 20 hospitals for the treatment of COVID-19 patients in the country. Laboratory tests, some medical equipment, and supplies necessary for the diagnosis of the virus and the treatment have been brought from abroad.
President Ilham Aliyev made the remarks at the Non-Aligned Movement Summit in the format of a Contact Group, which got underway on May 4 through videoconference: "As many as 23 laboratories testing for the disease are operating in the country. So far, more than 160,000 tests have been conducted across the country," said the head of state.
