On June 14, the First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev watched tactical-special exercise held with engineering units. 
The modern weapons and equipment at the disposal of the units and subunits of the engineering troops were inspected, the reports of the command staff were heard. The Chief of the General Staff was reported that, the units were withdrawn to assembly areas on alert and brought to combat mode under the plan.
